Electronic Communications: With your permission, we may send you emails about new opportunities to get involved with us and our community, products, free and premium content (i.e. blog posts, YouTube videos, reports/whitepapers, etc.), and events.
Physical Communications: If you sign up on a mailing list at an event (or have someone sign up your email on your behalf), or communicate with us in person to give us your permission to communicate with you about our services, we may send you emails or post mail content about new opportunities to get involved, products, free and premium content (i.e. blog posts, YouTube videos, reports/whitepapers, etc.), and events.
Purchase Communication: When you purchase something from our site, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. This enables us to both fulfill and support the products you purchase. When you browse our site, we may also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system so we can better improve the experience for all our users.
Contact Information: When you sign up on our email list, postal mailing list, contact forms, or give us your email or contact information as part of an event sign-up, we collect only the information you willingly provide to us. That information is held in a third party Secure Contact Management System (currently Bitrix24.com and MailChimp.com). That information will not be disclosed without your consent.
Privacy Settings: Information you choose to disclose to the community or public based on the privacy settings on your account can be changed at your will by logging in to your account and making those changes. General Privacy: We may print out basic information for use at an event, such as name, phone number, and ticket purchase price, and quantity of tickets purchased, so that we can facilitate your entry to the event or updating our mailing list. This information is tracked, entered into our Secure Contact Management System at the first available opportunity, and any physical copies are destroyed immediately following.
We are not therapists or doctors, but due to the nature of our type of business, in the course of working with members and our community, we may take notes on interactions you willingly engage in with us to help us better facilitate and provide improved service, and some of those notes may contain content of a more private nature, such as personal goals. Any private information will be treated as such, maintained with a sense of confidentiality, stored only with password or encryption, and will not be accessible to the general public or general staff. We will never ask nor store information such as credit card numbers, social security numbers, or banking information.
Payment Information: All credit card, debit, and direct deposit payments are processed through secure third party payment processors such as PayPal, Stripe and Square, and are covered by the payment processor’s policies. We do not have access to your full credit card information. NOTE: At no point during the transaction does The Luminaria or Luminaria Sanctuary or any of it’s staff take custody or store your credit card information.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason (i.e. newsletter subscription and marketing messages), we will ask you directly for your expressed consent and provide you with an opportunity to withdraw your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking on an “unsubscribe” link which is offered at the bottom of every email we send.

The Luminaria and Luminaria Sanctuary may utilize cookies to create a more customized experience for our users and customers. For example, we use a login cookie so members do not have to re-enter their username and password each time they return to our site We also use tracking pixels (i.e. Google Analytics) to aid in measuring and tracking where our website traffic is coming from and to track the performance of our site. Finally, we use remarketing pixels from other sites such as Facebook and Google to aid in customized, targeted followup advertising.
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service and we are forced to report the violation to a governing agency. Also, if our site is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that they may continue to sell and support our products and services. IMPORTANT: We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to any third parties, including but not limited to advertisers, strategic partners or vendors.
